Learned of Alvena passing yesterday. I had known her since 1952. Had known Melbourne since 1935. I often thought of her, but lost contact after 2009 when she moved out of her home. Sorry for your loss.

Alvena was such a beautiful person. We became acquainted when we all moved to Beaumont and started having coffee's. She and Mel were always cordial and friendly and would do anything to lend a helping hand. She will be missed. God Bless you all.
