Ann’s life began on January 13, 1942, the daughter of Ray and Elzabeth (Washburn) Webster in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated from Putnam High School the Class of 1959, and married George Lee Lawson on June 17, 1960, in Bethany, Oklahoma. Ann was a homemaker, and a member of First Baptist Church. She loved her grandchildren and her animals. She also enjoyed reading magazines, cookbooks, tole painting, and her Lipton tea with lemon!
Her loving family includes her son, Darrell Lawson of El Dorado; daughters, Anita (Kenneth) Monroe of Belleville, Illinois, Sherrie Meyer of Augusta, Kansas and Debra Montgomery of El Dorado; a sister, Virginia Boswell of Texas; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George in 2015; son-in-law, Jr. Montgomery and a brother, Jerry Webster. Ann passed away, Monday, July 24, 2016, having reached the age of 75 years old.
A public viewing with no family present will be held Wednesday, August 2, from 9-5 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Thursday, August 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado with Pastor Wade Graber officiating.
