Yvonne’s life began on October 26, 1943 in Lakewood, Colorado. She is the daughter of Arthur and Alda (Watson) Dean. Yvonne was united in marriage to Carl Cooley on August 8, 1994 in Las Vegas, NV. She worked as a medical billing specialist for many years. Yvonne was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Non-Commissioned Officers Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints in El Dorado. Her loving family includes her husband Carl Cooley of El Dorado; children Shelley Hasselman of CA., Darlene Singer of CA., and Michael Shaw of WA.; grandchildren Kaleigh Hasselman of PA., J.T. Bytel of CA., and Josh Singer of CA.; siblings David Abbott of WA., Donna Kinney of TX., Audrey Tabbox of MA., Thomas Dean of CO., and Patrick (Melinda) Dean of CA. and several nieces and nephews. Yvonne passed away on Friday February 16, 2018 at El Dorado Care and Rehab. She is preceded in death by her parents. Yvonne’s family will gather with friends on Thursday from 5-7 at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home where her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
