William "Bill" Eugene Seymour

William “Bill” Eugene Seymour was born on July 18, 1933 in Leon, Kansas the son of Carl and Dora (Ades) Seymour. He graduated from Leon High School class of 1951 and served in the United States Army. Just a few short years later, in 1958, Bill married Marilyn G. Busch. He worked as a pipefitter for local refineries. He is survived by his sons, Dale Seymour of Augusta and Galen (Megan) Seymour of Leawood; daughter, Karen (Paul) Beaman of El Dorado; grandchildren, Madeline and Lydia Seymour; and sisters, Ruth Brewer of Augusta, Ruby Flinn of Kansas City and Roberta Kiser of Augusta. Bill passed away on August 19, 2019 in Wichita. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn; brother, Russell Seymour and sister, Faye Wilson. His family will gather with friends on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church of El Dorado at 10:00 AM, where celebration of his life will follow at 11:00 AM. Following his service he will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First United Methodist Church.
