William "Bill" Wesley Anderson

William “Bill” Anderson’s life began on February 10, 1929 in El Dorado, KS; the son of Elmer and Saloma (Ehrlich) Anderson. Bill was united in marriage to Elinor E. Poe on February 19, 1949. He worked hard for his family in the oilfields as an operator. Bill always had a smile on his face and enjoyed life. He liked camping, fishing and hunting. Bill’s greatest joy was his family which includes his son, Dan (Patricia) Anderson of El Dorado; grandson John (Brandi) Anderson of El Dorado; great grandchildren Logan Anderson of El Dorado and Lily Anderson of El Dorado; and sister-in-law Jean Poe of El Dorado. Bill passed away on June 26, 2021 in Whitewater, KS. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elinor; daughter, Vicki Anderson and his parents. Friends may gather with the family from 5-7 on Thursday, July 1 at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, July 2 at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home.
