Vivian’s life began on October 9, 1935 in El Dorado.  She is the daughter of Frank and Bertha Jane Sophia (Watson) Cannon.  Vivian is a 1952 graduate of El Dorado High School and she attended business college in Wichita.   Vivian was the operator and owner of the El Dorado Skating Rink.  She was an avid sports fan and competitive speed skating coach.  Vivian travelled to many meets and venues to coach and encourage speed skaters.  She was also a national speed skating tabulator for many years. Vivian’s extended family and friends were other coaches, competitors and officials in the speed skating world nationwide.   Vivian attended Trinity Episcopal Church in El Dorado.  She enjoyed her bridge club,  pampering her pets and knitting.  Her greatest joy was her family which includes her two daughters Ruth (Danny) Fechter of El Dorado and Susan Lemasters of Midwest City, OK; grandchildren Tia (Jake) Underwood, Ryan (Dalton Dowdy) Lemasters, Amber (Tad) McLaren, and Danna (Scott) Lee; great grandchildren Veronica, Vanessa and Taya Frees, Elizabeth, Daniel and Andrew McLaren, Janae, Jordan, and Jackson Lee and great great grandchild Brannon Kirby; former spouse Billy Reed Lemasters and lifelong special friend Maurice Swihart.   Vivian passed away on December 23, 2017 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.  She is preceded in death by her parents, son Brian Lemasters, sister Helen Trigg and brothers Cliff and Harry Cannon.  Her family will gather with friends on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home.  Vivian’s requiem mass will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, El Dorado led by Mother Christine Gilson.  She will be laid to rest in Sunset Lawns cemetery.  Memorial contributions in Vivian’s name may be directed to the Trinity Episcopal Church or the Susan B.
