Viola’s life began on February 14, 1944; the daughter of Dean and Eleanor (Bartholomae) Kidwell. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Blake on February 14, 1962. She later attended the Butler County Junior College. Viola retired from the El Dorado Refinery after 22 years of service. Viola was a fun loving person. She enjoyed concerts, movies and books. Viola loved to shop on QVC. She absolutely loved the 4th of July and the celebrations that surrounded the holiday. Viola had a deep love for animals, she especially loved her cat, Garfield, her dog, Bear and macaw Molly. Viola’s greatest joy was her family which includes her husband Kenneth of El Dorado; children Kimberly Blake of El Dorado, Karen (Jonnie) Johnson of El Dorado, Kelly (Kirk) Day of El Dorado; grandchildren Jayme Tucker, Mason (Callie) Johnson, Kegan (Ashley) Johnson, William Day and Cameron Day; sister Norma Jean (Robert) Thrush of Wichita; Aunt Bernice Hackler as well as several nieces and nephews. Viola is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Elizabeth Jack.
