Veloma Hill

Veloma Hill was born on April 29, 1954 in Los Angeles, California; the daughter of John Merle and Rosemary (Ferris) Baer. She loved to sing and read, especially to her son and grandchildren. She also studied geology for fun. Veloma’s greatest joy in life was her family, which includes her son, David (Julie) Hill of El Dorado; grandsons, Nathaniel and Zebediah Hill; and brother, Alexander (Louisa) Baer and his family. Veloma passed away on September 23, 2021 in Wichita, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dirk Allen Hill and son, John Hill. A memorial service will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021 at First Southern Baptist Church in El Dorado at 11:00 AM.
