Tribute

Travis’ life began on February 6, 1928 in Healdton, Oklahoma; the son of Hosey D. and Eddie L.(Underwood) Perkins. He graduated from Stroud High School in 1940. Travis was united in marriage to Patsy J. Turner on December 10, 1948 in Stroud, Oklahoma. Travis and Patsy moved to El Dorado in 1968 and spent over 50 years in El Dorado. He worked as a superintendent of drilling and production for Crowe Drilling Company in both Wichita and El Dorado. In his spare time, Travis enjoyed traveling. His greatest joy was his family; which includes son Randall (Janet) Perkins of Woodlands, TX; daughter Katherine (Richard) Hubbell of Frisco, TX; grandchildren Kristen (Ben) Cook, Emily (James) Catalanotto, Amanda (Tom) Myers, Kevin Lorenzo Perkins and Keither Perkins; great grandchildren Grace Myers, Molly Myers, Kate Cook, Sara Cook and Amarynth Perkins and sister, Mary Folk of Bushton, KS. Travis passed away on May 13, 2020 in Frisco. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Perkins; siblings Bob Perkins, Charles Perkins, Betty R. Lahar, Clifford Perkins, Patty Ann Perkins and John Perkins and Linda White.
