Tim L. Vanderpool, 58, of Rosalia, KS passed away on February 24, 2018 surrounded by his family at home. Tim was born on August 19, 1959 to Bob and Nada Fern (Harp) Vanderpool in El Dorado, KS. He was united in marriage to Beverly Wilson on May 25, 1985 at the El Dorado Lake. Tim enjoyed riding his Harley, camping, BBQ cook-outs and always had a joke to tell. Tim enjoyed fishing with his lifelong friends, but especially the time spent with his favorite fishing partner, granddaughter Cheyenne. His loving family includes wife Beverly of Rosalia; daughter Lana (Kip) Pohlman of Augusta, grandchildren Cheyenne Pohlman and Felecia Pohlman; great-grandchildren Tysin and Bentley; father Bob (Sharon) Vanderpool; siblings Randy (Tammy) Vanderpool, Sheila Vanderpool-Peil, Kevin (Ronna) Vanderpool, father-in-law Dale (Edith) Wilson; several nieces and nephews; his beloved dog Molly and grand-dog Peanut. Tim was preceded in death by his mother Nada Fern Vanderpool, mother-in-law Mary Wilson, son Jason Vanderpool and grandson Garrett Buthe. Friends may gather with the family from 1-2pm on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Carlson Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held at 2pm led by Pastor Jim Pohlman. Cremation has taken place and Tim will be laid to rest at a later date.
