Teresa “Teri” Lohman’s life began on April 29, 1947 in Wichita; the daughter of Elmer and Ruth (Steinbach) Richardson. Teri attended cosmetology school and became a licensed cosmetologist. She was united in marriage to Roger Lohman on May 25, 1984 in El Dorado. Teri worked early on as a beauty operator at the Man Trap Salon and later as a florist for over 25 years. She retired from working in the floral industry from her own shop, “Flowers, Frills and Fragrances”. When Teri was not working with flowers she enjoyed sewing, baking pies and supporting her son and grandsons at the 81 Speedway while they participated in dirt track racing. Teri also enjoyed working outside in her garden and watching KU basketball. Her greatest joy was her family which includes her husband Roger; son Brian (Mylisa) Powers of Wichita; grandchildren Josh (Brandi) Lanterman, Dan (Nicole) Powers; great grandchild Briggs Powers; and several nieces and nephews. Teri passed away on October 10, 2019 in El Dorado. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Jacque Gelvin.
