Ted’s life began on September 15, 1928 in Dodge City, KS; the son of Ted and Alma (Willis) Bossingham. Ted graduated high school and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy as a fireman on the destroyer USS Vogelgesang. Upon his return, Ted completed his college degree. He was united in marriage to Betty Whitman on August 22, 1954. Ted built churches all over the United States as a Superintendent for Roe Messner of Commercial Builders of Kansas Ted was a woodworker and gardener. He enjoyed reading extensively, especially encyclopedias. His family includes his children Jan (Rick) Hodge of El Dorado, Tami (Lance) Friedel of Andover; grandchildren Gates Emond, Garret Emond and Griffin Bossingham; brother Jerry Bossingham of Caldwell and several nieces and nephews. Ted passed away on February 7, 2020 in Augusta. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15 at 10:30 am at Andover Cemetery in Andover.
