Rose “Annette” Brenton was born on September 24, 1960 in Wichita, KS the daughter of Alva and Lois (Bachelder) Moore. Annette passed away on Sunday September 3, 2017 at the age of 56 in El Dorado. She graduated from Flinthills High School in Rosalia in 1978 and October 28, 1978, married Marty Brenton. She attended and graduated from Butler County Community College in 1993. Annette was a compassionate and hardworking woman. She loved her family and helping others. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a 4-H leader and member of the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado. She leaves behind her children and their spouses, Tyson and Emily Brenton of Rosalia; Justin and Shelly (Brenton) Decker of Eureka; grandchildren Toby and Trey Brenton, Brentley and Mayley Decker; siblings and their spouses Alan and Kathy Moore of Rosalia; Ava and Don Wedel of El Dorado; Tom and Faye Moore of Cassoday; several nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Valetta Austin. Friends may gather with the family from 10-11 am on Thursday, September 7 at the Blankenship Cemetery in Rosalia where a graveside service will be held at 11 am led by Rev. Andrew Conard of The First United Methodist Church of El Dorado. Memorial contributions in Annette’s name may be directed to the Rosalia Volunteer Fire Department and the First United Methodist Church of El Dorado.
