Ronald "Ronny" Stroer

Ronald Lee Stroer, born on July 25, 1951 in Jerico Springs, MO to Robert and Doris Stroer. He grew up in the Benton area. Ronny joined the Navy in 1970 where he served aboard the U.S.S. Kittyhawk. He then moved to Missouri. IN 1980 he married the mother of his 2 children, James and Jessie “Toot” Stroer. In 1985 he married Dianna. Ronny was passionate about garage sales, auctions, money, camping and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his dog Blue, his children, family, friends and especially his grandchildren. Ronny passed away on October 21, 2020 in Wichita. He is preceded in death by both of his parents; brothers Brock and Bobby Dee; sister Mitzi Cash and niece Ruthie Logston. He is survived by siblings Pat (Bob) Greenstreet of El Dorado Springs, MO, Deborah (J.W.) Hurt of Overland Park, KS and Louis (Lisa) Stroer of Overland Park, KS, Trenda Franklin and Tracey (Deana) Stroer of Wichita, Ks; mother of his children, Dianna Stroer. His children James (Brandi) Stroer of Wichita, KS and Jessie (Shelly) Stroer of El Dorado, KS; grandchildren Emma, Timmy, Anthony and Akeyleez, his dog Blue and many nieces and nephews. Friends may gather with the family on Friday, October 23 at 10 am for a memorial service at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home.
