Roberta J Berd

Roberta’s life began on October 27, 1956 in El Dorado. She is the daughter of Roy and Annette (Chilton) Nelson. Roberta loved playing bingo and casino trips to play the slots. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Roberta is survived by her son J.R. Carlisle of El Dorado, brother Mike (Sheila) Nelson of Elbing, caregiving cousin Sheri Sherrill, caregiving nieces Angela “Dayami” Goodall and Serena Patterson; maternal aunts Pat Adlesperger of El Dorado, Mary Poffinbarger of El Dorado and Carole Howard of McPherson, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Roberta passed away on April 7, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Terry Branstetter, and Brenda Gannon and niece Shannon Branstetter. Roberta’s family will gather with friends on Saturday April 21st at 11 a.m. for a graveside memorial service at Sunset Lawns Cemetery. Carlson Colonial Funeral Home is serving the family.
