Robert Eugene Parker

Robert Eugene Parker’s life began on April 20, 1932 in Crook, CO; the son of Forrest and Olga (Japp) Parker. Robert had a passion for education and earned his Master’s Degree. He also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. On June 15, 1954, he was united in marriage to Rea Tollefson. In Robert’s spare time he enjoyed golfing and fishing. His greatest joy was his family which includes his children Ron Parker of Tampa, FL, Randy (Terri) Parker of Lake St. Louis, St. Louis, MO and Russell (Jan) Parker of Rochester, MN; 8 grandchildren including Summer Parker and Forrest Parker who were raised in the home; 1 great-grandchild and sisters Phyllis Davis of Rossville, KS and Irene Jaeger of Springfield, MO. Robert passed away on January 12, 2021 in Wichita. Friends may gather with the family from 4-6pm on Monday, January 18 at Carlson Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be conducted at Sunset Lawns Cemetery on Tuesday, January 19. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the First United Methodist Church of El Dorado.
