Robert Lee Roy Edwards

Robert Lee Roy Edwards’ life began on March 15, 1963 in El Dorado, KS; the son of Kenneth L. and Peggy L. (Hughes) Edwards. He graduated from Augusta High School in 1981. He was united in marriage to Jane Hardwick on December 16, 1988 in Wichita, KS. She precedes him in passing on January 26, 2008. Robert was an avid fisherman and loved the Kansas City Chiefs. He was an excellent provider and was proud to be a truck driver. Robert loved his family deeply. His loving family includes his son, A.J. (Tuesday) Edwards of El Dorado and daughter, Heather Edwards of El Dorado; grandchildren Aiden Edwards, Alivia Alexander, Jaelynn Alexander, Axton Edwards, Addyson Kelly and Aceyn Edwards; sister Linda (Pete) Hooser of Freeport, TX and Tina (Dennis) Kennedy of El Dorado, KS; brother in law Jay Thomas of El Dorado; step father Leonard Kingsley of El Dorado, KS, step mother Sandi Toepffer of League City, TX and step mother Mardi Edwards of St. George, KS; step brothers Wes (Jennifer) Chorn of League City, TX, Lonnie (Debbie) Kingsley of St. Joseph, MO, Ryan Branam of Topeka, KS, Jeff Branam of St. George, KS, Kevin (Goldie) Kingsley of Augusta as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that will miss Robert dearly. Robert passed away on February 26, 2023 in Towanda. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth L. Edwards; mother, Peggy Kingsley; sisters Pat Stormet, Karen Thomas, Shzelda Hughes and grandson, Alden Robert Lee Edwards. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1pm at H2O Church in Towanda. Memorial contributions may be directed to H2O Church of Towanda.
