Robert “Bob” A. Carson’s life began on April 8, 1931 the son of John P. and Frances (Blanton) Carson in El Dorado, KS. Bob attended high school in El Dorado. He was united in marriage to Elsie Parscal on August 9, 1952 in Bentonville, AR. Bob faithfully served his nation in the Navy. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his boys and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, riding his scooter, woodworking and watching the KC Chiefs. Bob passed away on February 11, 2018 in Wichita. His loving family includes his wife, Elsie; children David (Lois) Carson of El Dorado, John (Cindy) Carson of Towanda, Terry (Kathy) Carson of El Dorado, Mark (Ja) Carson of El Dorado, Scott Carson of El Dorado; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents. Memorials in Bob’s name may be directed to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
