Richard Grace

Longtime Burns, Kansas resident Richard W. “Rick” Grace died on Monday, September 2, 2019 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was 71 years of age.
Rick was born in Burns on December 31, 1947, the son of Thomas J. and Dorothy M (Jones) Grace.
Rick has farmed and been a rancher most of his life. He loved the outdoors and working with his livestock and his horses.
Preceding Rick in death were his parents and one brother Robert “Pidge” Grace.
He is survived by one brother Jerry of Montana, one niece Kristin Lucas and one nephew Thomas Grace.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Eldorado on Tuesday, September 17 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Burns Catholic Cemetery with U.S. Army Military Honors.
Memorials may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
