Richard "Rick" Thomas Bourne

Richard “Rick” Thomas Bourne was born on June 1, 1954 in El Dorado, Kansas; the son of Robert and Shirley (Petree) Bourne. He graduated from El Dorado High School and married Robin Marie Bailey on July 30, 1982 in El Dorado. Rick worked as maintenance for Washington Elementary for several years. His loving family includes his siblings, Cathy (Dale) Kenney of WaKeeney, Ronald Bourne of El Dorado and Christie Farner of El Dorado; seven nieces and one nephew. Rick passed away on August 21, 2019 in Whitewater. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Robin and nephew, Heath Billinger. Friends may gather on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Carlson Colonial Chapel at 9:30 AM where celebration of Rick’s life will take place at 10:30 AM; burial will immediately follow at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
