Ralph’s life began on July 6, 1949 in El Dorado; the son of Clarence R. and Fern J. (Carter) Wilson. Ralph attended Butler Community Junior College. On September 6, 1969, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Jacobson in El Dorado. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family. Ralph also enjoyed working on cars. Ralph worked for Hogoboom Oilfield Trucking for over 50 years working as a mechanic, truck driver and shop manager. His greatest joy was his family which includes his wife, Carolyn of El Dorado; children Donald (Pam) Wilson of Sedgwick, Terry (Karen) Wilson of Newton and Bobbi Wilson of El Dorado; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Tammy Davenport of Haysville; beloved dog Sophie and cat Katie. Ralph passed away on August 15, 2019 in El Dorado. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Robert Coats and Carolyn Carter. Friends may gather with the family from 5-7 at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 20. Ralph’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 21 at the First Christian Church of El Dorado at 11am. Ralph will be laid to rest on Monday, August 26 at 10am at Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
