Peggy L. (Pyle) Nelson, 89, of El Dorado, Kansas, passed away October 22, 2019. She was born in El Dorado, Kansas on Jun e6, 1930, to the late Susan Iona (Bailey) Hall and Ralph Willuam "Skinny" Pyle.
Peggy Attended schools in El Dorado, and had lived in the El Dorado, Benton, and Towanda area her entire life. She enjoyed cooking, crafts and bowling , and was a waitress in many restaurants over the years.
She was married to Eugene Rymer in 1946 and then married Henry Loys Nelson on March 10, 1950 in Wichita, Kansas. She is survived by two children, daughter, Joycetta Sue Smith of Potwin, and son, Howie Lynn Nelson, of Tecumseh, Kansas; one brother, Mitchell Edward "Bud" (Hazel) Pyle of El Dorado; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, and sister and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, husband of 64 years, 4 half brothers and sisters, and one granddaughter.
Celebration of Life (Graveside Service) will be held at Walnut Valley Memorial Park on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 10:30 A.M., led by Pastor Steve Hysom.
