Paul’s life began on May 30, 1941 in El Dorado. He is the son of George and Eva (Wilson) Rollings. Paul was united in marriage to Winkie Barton on August 16, 1960 in Wichita. He was a member of the United States Navy, first assigned to the USS Kittyhawk and later to the USS Independence. He later transferred to the United States Army as a special operations transfer to the Army. Paul enjoyed 22 years with the Army before retiring in 1979 to ranching back in Kansas. He enjoyed drag car racing, treasure hunting, travelling and his oldies music. His loving family includes his wife Winkie of Wichita, son John Paul Rollings of Wichita, grandson Michael Vivenzio-Rollings of Poland; siblings Alice (Sam)Powers of Haysville and Herb (Roxana) Rollings of Wichita and special niece Tawny “Chunk” Cauble. Paul passed away on June 12, 2018 at the Winfield Veteran’s Home. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Jr, Edith, Lydia, Walt, Esther, and Mary Ann. His family will gather with friends on Friday June 22, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home where his service will be held on Saturday June 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. He will be laid to rest with military honors in Towanda Cemetery.
