Nathan’s life began on January 25, 1989 in Emporia. He is the son of Rodger (Karen) Lindsey and Brenda (Frank) Powell. He is a 2008 graduate of El Dorado High School. Nathan worked as a service advisor for Hatchett GMC in Wichita. He loved his job and loved to work, often putting in 12 hour days and Saturdays. Nathan considered his co-workers part of his family. He was mechanically minded from a young age, taking off his own training wheels of his first bike by himself, he loved his cars and taking meticulous care of them. Nathan was a perfectionist in his appearance, his cars and when he did things for others. He helped everyone he could and especially loved his nieces and nephews. He was humble, kind and a true friend to so many. His loving family includes his father Rodger ( Karen) Lindsey of Leon, his mother Brenda (Frank) Powell of Wichita, siblings Bethany (Sean) Patty of El Dorado, Christy (Ryan) Oliver of El Dorado, Frankie “Landy” Powell of Wichita, Nicci Powell of Wichita, Elizabeth Lee of Norman, OK, Emily (Nick) Vidrios of Augusta and Rachel McDaniel of El Dorado; nieces and nephews Treyton, Taegen, Tucker, Truett, Tysten, Tannler, Austin, Khloe, Hayden, Lily, River, Adrianna, Alivia, Lily V, and Charlotte; his grandparents Raymond and Dolly Deaton and Joyce Lindsey. Nathan passed away on September 30, 2017 in Wichita. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Joe Lindsey, nephew Kade and Cousin Jace Ross.
