Michael “Mike” Campbell 60, passed away at his home in Leon on Thursday, April 23, 2020.
Mike was born on July 26, 1959 in El Dorado to Barbara (Lietzke, Henman) and Donald Campbell.
Mike met the love of his life Charla Shipley on November 8, 1998. Mike has a son Clinton James Campbell and wife Felicia (Archie) Campbell of Wichita, Kansas.
Mike worked hard his entire life in the oilfields, electrical, truck driving, and caring for individuals with disabilities. Mike loved the outdoors fishing and setting lines, looking for arrowheads, and Morel Mushrooms. He enjoyed gardening and was proud of his roses. He enjoyed bowling with his Dad Irvin Henman. His favorite vacation was trout fishing on Lake Taneycomo in Branson Missouri. The Fourth of July was a favorite with all the kids. He loved spending time with his grandsons, nephew, and extended grandkids. Mike worked and played hard. He will be missed but never forgotten.
Mike is survived by Charla, Clint, Felicia, Dad-Irvin Henman, grandson’s Isaac and Ian Campbell, nephew Josh Delaney, sisters Kristina Henman, Brenda Henman, and Shelley Henman, nieces Ashley, Ellie, and Edwina. He leaves behind his fishing buddies, and many other friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Henman, father Donald Campbell, grandparents Dorothy and Harold Lietzke, the mother of his son Cynthia Warren, and lifetime friend Jeff Canady.
