Mary’s life began on April 26, 1929, in El Dorado, KS and she passed away on March 16, 2020, in Wichita, KS. She was the daughter (one of 15 children) of Lloyd and Hazel (Boone) Turner. Mary was united in marriage to Clifford Camp on October 26, 1945, while he was on leave from the United States Navy and they celebrated almost 60 years of marriage until Clifford’s passing on March 1, 2005. She married Jim Nuttle on August 5, 2006. Mary cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies and interests were traveling, dancing, ceramics, gardening, sewing, and quilting. She was a life-long TOPS member and was proud to receive a KOPS award. She was active in the El Dorado Senior Center and loved attending Sunday school at First Baptist Church of El Dorado. Mary and Clifford valued the legacy they created of a family of four children – Rhonda, Cathy, Mike, and Buster; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. She is survived by her children Cathy (Mack) Deichman and Buster Camp. She is preceded in death by Clifford Camp; Rhonda Drake and her husband Jim Drake; Mike Camp and his wife Cathy Camp; Buster Camp’s wife Beth Camp. Friends may gather at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home from 5-7pm on Thursday, March 19, 2020. In the interest of our community all visitations/funerals/memorial services/gatherings of any type will be limited to no more than 50 people per Governor Kelly.
