Margaret Louise Williams

Margaret’s life began on March 14, 1931 in Welda, KS; the daughter of Isaac and Eva (Britton) Brownrigg. She was united in marriage to Jay Williams on April 10, 1950. Margaret cooked for several restaurants in El Dorado including the Stardust and the Moose Lodge. She also enjoyed gardening and crafts. Her greatest joy was her family which includes her daughters, Cathy Dunn of El Dorado, Shirley Little of Wichita and Janet Williams of Ulysses, KS; grandchildren Jennifer (Alfonzo) Requena of Nowata, OK, Laura McEachern of Blackwell, OK, Heather Lewis of Blackwell, OK, Eric (Melanie) Little of Burton, KS, Robyn (Billy) Lipps of Ark City, KS, Clint (Raisa) Little of Hayes, KS and Amanda Little of Wichita; 17 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and sister Mary Mace of Richmond, KS; beloved fur-children Stormy and Tammy. Margaret passed away on April, 24, 2020 in El Dorado. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jay; her parents; 4 brothers and 1 great granddaughter. Margaret will be laid to rest on Wednesday, April 29 at Welda Cemetery in Welda, KS. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the Wichita Humane Society.
