Linda Ruth Nielsen

Linda Ruth Nielsen was born on July 1, 1950 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to Erling Christian and Shirley Evelyn (Ockenhouse) Nielsen. She had the biggest heart of anyone you’d ever meet. Her personality was the most caring and forgiving you’d find. Her greatest joy in her life was her family which consisted of her sister, Cindy Simacek of Orange, California; nephew, Scott Simacek of Orange, California; stepsister, Terri Lester of Wisconsin; stepbrothers, Steve Turner of New Jersey, David Turner of Wisconsin, and numerous special loving Nielsen family cousins. Linda passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at her home in El Dorado. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Erma and George Ockenhouse and Thyra and Harold Nielsen; parents, Shirley and Erling Nielsen; stepmother, Maureen Nielsen and brother-in-law, Dean Simacek. Memorial donations in Linda’s name can be made to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1pm at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home.
