Leo’s life began on February 10, 1948 in Coffeyville. He is the son of Delbert Baker and Lorena M. (Arnold) Allen. Leo was a graduate of East High School in Wichita and worked 40 years for Beechcraft in Wichita retiring as an assembly line supervisor. He was united in marriage to Patricia C. Pousch on February 16, 1972 in El Dorado. Leo loved farming and ranching. He raised Herefords, Angus and Charolaise cattle. Leo was a regular at the area sale barns and he knew how to work hard his entire life. He is survived by four sons John (Nancy) Levasseur of Wichita, Ted Levasseur of Augusta, Timothy Baker of Wichita, and Terry (Valerie) Baker of Augusta; grandchildren Joshua Levasseur, Christina Levasseur, Leah Ellis, Christopher Levasseur, Brandie Baker, Amy Baker and Alexis Baker; sisters Judy Guthrie, Dolly Henry, Peggy Holt and Rayleen Ortiz; aunt Bebe Arnold and several nieces and nephews. Leo passed away at his home on April 30, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia and sister Nola Swanson. His family will gather with friends on Friday from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home where his service will begin at 1 p.m. Leo will be laid to rest in Quito Cemetery, Leon.
