Kristina Kay Brown was born on June 22, 1994 in Wichita, Ks; the daughter of Rosalie “Jo” (Brown) Thorne and Brian Haskins. She was a fun loving girl and didn’t know any strangers, there wasn’t anyone that she wouldn’t talk too. In school, Kristina had many talents; cheerleading, violin, debate and forensics were a few of her favorites. She will be missed by her many friends and family, which includes her parents, Jo and Brad Thorne of El Dorado; siblings, Sydney (Andrew) Haigler of El Dorado, Laura Saltsman of El Dorado, Levi Saltsman of Wichita, Emily Thorne of El Dorado, Addison Thorne of El Dorado, and Wren Haskins of Ringwood NJ; nieces, Danika, Zoey, Kyra, Jordynn, Harlynn and Ariyah of El Dorado; nephews, Xavier and August of El Dorado; maternal grandparents, Theresa Campbell and Ray Vincent of El Dorado; paternal grandmother, Rebecca Jo McCune of Derby; grandparents, Patricia and Lyle Thorne of Whitewater; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kristina passed away unexpectedly on March 15, 2022 in Brooklyn, NY. She is preceded in death by her father, Brian Haskins; brother, Aiden Thorne; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Ray Brown; and paternal grandfather, Ronald Jean Haskins. Celebration of Kristina’s life will take place at Carlson Colonial Chapel on Saturday, April 2 at 10am. The family will hold a private burial at Sunset Lawns Cemetery at a later date.
