Kelsi’s life began on February 8, 1992 in El Dorado. She is the daughter of Staci Lewis and Christopher Ferren. She was a 2010 graduate of Bluestem High School and attended Butler County Community College for her CNA degree. Kelsi loved so much of this life. She loved her children with great devotion, and she loved life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time at the lake and fishing. Kelsi loved music and hanging out with friends; she loved riding motorcycles with her love Alan. Kelsi was fearless, strong willed and never backed down from a challenge. Her greatest joy was her family which includes her parents Staci (Brian) Lewis of Leon, Christopher (Melissa) Ferren of Cottonwood Falls, love of her life Alan Gehlen of Augusta; children Corbin Griffin, Ruby Gehlen and Arlo Gehlen; siblings Karson Lewis and Briley Ferren; great grandmothers Allene Daniel of Andover and Doris Ferren of Branson West, MO., grandparents David and Darlene Bohannon of Branson West, MO and Ron and Carol Lewis of Leon. Kelsi passed away on September 9, 2018 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado. Her family will gather with friends on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home for her memorial service led by Pastor Stan Seymour.
