Julie Ann Bruno

Julie’s life began on November 9, 1964, in El Dorado, KS; the daughter of Clem and Shirley (Welty) Sander. Julie was an avid scholar and enjoyed studying and learning. Julie earned two Master’s degrees from Midwestern University and Texas A&M. She was a good mother and loved her boys with all her heart. Julie passed away at her home in El Dorado on May 15, 2018. Her loving family includes her sons Trevor Bruno of Laredo, TX, Trent Bruno of Laredo, TX and Travis Bruno of Laredo, TX; sister Becky (Brent) Blaine of Keller, TX, brother Russ (Tammy) Sander of Magnolia, TX; father Clem Sander of El Dorado and six nieces and nephews. Julie is preceded in death by her mother Shirley Sander and her niece Emily Sander. Friends may gather with the family from 10-11 am on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Carlson Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held at 11 am. Julie will be laid to rest at Walnut Valley Memorial Park at a later date. Memorial contributions in Julie’s name may be directed to the Mental Health Association of Kansas.
