Joseph Lee Thomas

Joey’s life began on July 9, 1984 in Orem, UT. He is the son of Benjamin L. Thomas and Dianna Ray (Stewart) Thomas. Joey was united in marriage to Heather Simon on December 8, 2013 at the Calvary Tabernacle in El Dorado. He worked for Rick’s Lawn and Remodeling. Joey enjoyed mowing lawns and stringing Christmas lights. He loved to help others and was always concerned for his friends. Joey really loved to razz his wife Heather and he enjoyed spending time with his friend Brother Rick Freeman, just cruising around. He loved playing with his animals and coloring. His loving family includes his wife Heather Thomas of El Dorado, father Benjamin Thomas of Utah, step-children Sebastian Simon, Nadia Simon and Marianna Hall; siblings Ernest, Benjamin, Russell, Joshua, Kandie, Banathie and Mandy Thomas. Joey passed away on October 3, 2018 at Wesley Medical Center. His mother Dianna precedes him in death. His family will gather with friends on Sunday October 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Calvary Tabernacle (1118 Douglas Rd) for his memorial service led by his friend Brother Rick Freeman. He will be laid to rest in Sunset Lawns Cemetery later. Memorial contributions in Joey’s name may be directed to the Calvary Tabernacle (1118 Douglas Rd).
