Jason Daniel Strasser

Jason Daniel Strasser, age 49, of El Dorado, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Jason was born on December 17, 1971 in El Dorado, Kansas to Larry and Mikki Strasser. He met the love of his life, Sarah Wehry, on January 3, 2002. Together they raised Jason’s daughter, Aja and Sarah’s son, Dustin, and then decided to have one of their own, Jay, born on April 2, 2005. Jason loved bowling, shooting pool, camping, and of course watching his Kansas City Chiefs play football. His favorite thing in life though was spending time with his family and friends and making memories. He had a big heart with a loving and caring nature, especially when it came to animals. Jason was the best son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend that anyone could ever ask for. He will be deeply missed.
Jason is survived by his wife, Sarah Wehry; children, Aja Stasser, Dustin Wehry, and Jay Strasser; siblings, Richard (Sharon) Terrel, Kim (Kelly) Doornbos, and Nik Strasser; eight nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.

Jason is preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Mikki Strasser.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Jason Strasser Estate for Education Fund for his son Jay, at White Eagle Credit Union, 2218 Legion Dr., PO Box 817., El Dorado, KS 67042.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 5-7pm with a funeral service following on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10am, both at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.
