Janice’s life began on October 29, 1934 in El Dorado. She is the daughter of Edwin and Lucille (Daley) Alford. Janice was united in marriage to Paris W. Alford on July 4, 1976 in Las Vegas, NV. She worked as a receptionist for Gordy Square and Heritage House in El Dorado. Janice was a member of First Baptist Church of El Dorado. She was a Red Cross Volunteer. Janice loved to walk, go camping, fishing and being outdoors. She is survived by her children Scott Parks of El Dorado and Lisa (James Farnham) Bowers of Oklahoma City; and grandchildren Brandon Bowers and Nicholas Farnham. Janice passed away on February 22, 2018 at Lakepoint of El Dorado. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Paris, and sons Mark and Jeff Parks and David Hunt. Her family will gather with friends on Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home where her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m..
