January 12, 1932 ~ June 30, 2021 (age 89) 89 Years Old

Tribute

James Robert Nuttle Jr., of El Dorado, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday June 30, 2021 at the age of 89. James was born on January 12, 1932 in El Dorado, Kansas to James and Frances (McCoin) Nuttle. He grew up helping his family work on the ranch. He really enjoyed everything there was to do with farming and ranching. He especially loved to collect tractors, his favorite being the International Harvester Farmall. When it came time to think about college, it just made sense for him to get his Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. James was a past President of the Kansas State Farm Bureau, something he was very proud of. He was also proud to serve his country in the United States Army as a paratrooper. His military service meant a lot to him and he was a very patriotic man. James married his first real love, Marjorie Unruh. During their 25 years of marriage they raised two children together, Mark and Renee. James was a very loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed.
James is survived by his children, Mark Nuttle and Renee (Leslie) Deangeles; grandchildren, Mona, Rita, Will, Jamey, and Jazzmine; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Eda Woolf-Nixon (Jim Nixon) and Greta Ross; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10:00am at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home.
Memorial donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church of El Dorado.
