Jackie "Jack" Dale Farris

Jackie Dale Farris was born on June 7, 1944 in Mountain View, Arkansas; the son of Walter Raymond and Mabel Fern (Barton) Farris. He was a truck driver for International Cold Storage. Jack was a lover of old cars and was a proud owner of a 1956 Chevy. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association. His greatest joy in life was his family which is his son, Zachary Farris of Leon; sisters, June Erwin, Melba Baker-Anderson, Debbie (Bryan) Pearce, Sherrie Eichman, Sheila (Bill) Phillips and Kim (Todd) Schneider; and many nieces and nephews. He passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2023 at his home in Leon. He is preceded in death by his parents; another son; and sister, Linda Currie. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Jack’s life will be held at Carlson Funeral Home on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 10 A.M. Burial of his remains will immediately follow at Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
