Hazel "Jolene" Anderson

Hazel “Jolene” Anderson’s life began on December 26, 1941 in Missouri, the daughter of Robert and Martha (Franklin) Hughes. Jolene had an independent spirit and worked hard for her family as branch manager for a local bank. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going swimming at the pool, going on casino trips and visiting friends at the El Dorado VFW where she was a member. Jolene’s family includes her son Michael (Danielle) Burnham of Matthews, North Carolina; grandchildren Wyatt Burnham and Seth Burnham of Matthews, North Carolina; brother, Jim Hughes of Colorado Springs, CO. Jolene passed away on June 23, 2021 in Wichita. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Anderson, 2 sisters and her parents. Cremation has taken place and an informal memorial service will be held on Friday, July 9th at 3:00 PM at the El Dorado VFW. Memorial contributions can be made to VFW Post #1174 of El Dorado.
