Harold’s life began on April 6, 1920 in Quinlan, OK the son of Roy and Phyllis (Click) Roberts. Harold faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force as a pilot in WWII. He was united in marriage to Genevieve “Jane” Sigg on October 29, 1942 in Wichita. Harold enjoyed collecting antiques and was known for running the Cassoday Antiques store. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his youth and especially enjoyed gardening. He was a master gardener of sorts and worked until he reached the age of 97, cutting grass and running his tractor. His greatest joy was his family which includes his children Robbie (Kimberley) Roberts of Philadelphia, PA, Kaye Anderson of Atlanta, GA, Ramona (Greg Wood) Hinde of Cassoday, Anita Moore of Matfield Green; 22 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. Harold passed away on June 7, 2019 in El Dorado. He is preceded in death by 3 children, his wife Jane, a sister and his parents. Friends may gather with the family from 6-8 on Friday June 14 at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home. Harold’s funeral service will be held on Saturday June 15 at the Cassoday United Methodist Church at 11 am. He will be laid to rest at Cassoday Cemetery with full military honors.
