Glenda’s life began on July 1, 1951 in Emporia, KS; the daughter of Shirley E. and Yolanda (Huston) Leedy. She was a 1969 graduate of Leon High School and earned her beautician’s license. She was united in marriage to Joseph Kravitz II on May 3, 1977 in Wichita. Glenda worked hard for her family as an aircraft assembler for many years. She had a servant’s heart and volunteered with the scouts. Glenda was also a member of the First Baptist Church for many years. Her greatest joy was her family, which includes her daughters Angie King of Wichita, Amanda Kravitz of Towanda, son, Joe Kravitz III of Towanda, grandchildren Ashton, Aiden, Tea`, Kaitlien, Kasey and Kody; and a brother, George Leedy of Augusta. Glenda passed away on July 6, 2022 at her home in Towanda. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe, her parents, sister-in-law Mary Leedy and step-father, Robert Bishoff. Friends may gather with the family at 11am on Saturday, July 16 at the Towanda Baptist Church in Towanda for a memorial service. Please wear blue to the memorial service in memory of Glenda. She will be laid to rest at Towanda Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Glenda’s name may be directed to the Girl Scouts and to the Boy Scouts.
