Gary Walter Job

Gary’s life began on October 3, 1942 in Canton, MO; the son of Harold R and Marguerite (Bailey) Job. He graduated in 1960 and went on to serve in the United States Air Force from 1963-1967. Gary worked hard for his family and fed almost the whole of Butler County at Job Lunch, where his veal sandwiches were known far and wide. In his spare time, Gary enjoyed gardening and planting trees and flowers. He was also an avid coin collector. Gary’s true joy was his family which includes his daughter, Shannon (Joe) Taylor of El Dorado; granddaughter Alexa (George) McAvoy of Towanda and great grandchildren Kyllian and Harper; and brother, Ray Job of Canton, MO. Gary passed away on July 2, 2022 in Wichita. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 9 at 3 pm at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home in El Dorado.
