Evelyn Faye Smith

Evelyn Faye (Curnutt) Smith, age 91, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was born on January 12, 1930 in Severy, Kansas to Frank and Florence (Clark) Curnutt. Evelyn was very devoted to her family. She loved gardening, reading, and cooking. She was very proud of her Native American heritage.
She is preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Bill Smith; siblings, Edith Keith, Bud Curnutt, George Curnutt, and Tiny Curnutt; great grandchildren, Brooke Pruitt and Kelsi Ferren; and her beloved dog, Pebbles.
She is survived by her children, Ron (Carol) Lewis, Linda Pruitt, Sandi Williamson, Randy Lewis, Brad Burton, Debbie (Jay) Shaver, and Tracy Burton; 18 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Evelyn’s name can be made to the Kansas Humane Society.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 5-7 pm, with a funeral service to follow on January 21, 2021 at 2:00pm, both at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home.
