Emma "Sue" Stevens

Emma “Sue” Stevens’ life began on November 24, 1938 the daughter of Lee O. & Edna M. (Webb) Stevens in Augusta, KS. Emma loved her family dearly. She was funny without trying and often found herself in priceless situations. She was known for her unique earrings that were often holiday themed. Sue was genuine and loving and never knew a stranger. Her loving family includes her children, Jackie Crump of Emporia, Debra Haggett of El Dorado; grandchildren Michael, Rosie, Connie, Melody and Holly; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister Mary Jane Dunaway of Saltilo, MS; sisters-in-law May Stevens of Potwin, Mary Stevens of Augusta. Emma passed away on November 7, 2018 at El Dorado Care and Rehab in El Dorado, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Memorial contributions in Emma’s name may be directed to the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
