Edward L Brooks

Edward “Eddie” L. Brooks Jr. passed away on May 10, 2018, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Eddie was born in Wichita, Kansas. July 31, 1968. He spent his school years in El Dorado, until his sophomore year in 1983 when his family moved to Washington State. After attending college there he briefly returned to El Dorado before spending the remainder of his years in the Kansas City, Missouri area.
Eddie is survived by his girlfriend, Stephanie Green of Kansas City, Missouri; his adoring daughter, Jadyn Taylor Brooks (17) of Grandview, Missouri; parents, Ed and Jackie (Greer) Brooks; sisters, Justy (Keith) Mayernik, Cara (Trever) Crimmins, and a brother, Darby (Angela) Brooks, all of Washington State.
Eddie is preceded in death by his grandparents, JoAnn (Coons) Clayton, Jack and Patricia Greer, Kenneth (Squeek) and Velda (Mac) Brooks.
A Celebration of his life will be held at First Baptist Church in El Dorado on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 2:00 pm.
