Dwendela "Joan" Winn

Dwendela’s life began on February 23, 1955, the daughter of Fred and Norma (Gulick) Gee in Eureka, Kansas. She attended Eureka High School Class of 1973, and married Ronald Leon Winn on September 25, 2001, in Eureka. Dwendela is listed as a charter member, being in a family of a founding member of Jefferson Baptist and also attended First Baptist both in Eureka. She had a green thumb and enjoyed plants and breeding dogs, the Denver Broncos and her favorite television show Supernatural.

Her loving family includes her husband, Ron Winn of Eureka; children, Jennifer Wilson (Brian) of El Dorado, John Henderson-Gill (Brian) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Amy Henderson (Eric Depa) of Kansas City, Missouri; step-children, Ammie Morgan (Rob) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jeff Winn (Chrissy) of Eureka, Matt Winn (LeAnne) of Eureka; sisters, Vanessa Jane Gee of Park City, Kansas, Dalanna Borgen and Francie Gee both of El Dorado; 17 grandchildren, plus one on the way and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Gee and Norma Gee Spurlock; brother, Buddy Gee; sister, Dareeca “DA” Miller. Dwendela passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, having reached the age of 64 years old.
