Doris June Bidwell

Doris’ life began on March 15, 1925, the daughter of Clifton Wesley and Mary May (Higgins) Ralston in El Dorado, Kansas. She graduated from El Dorado High Class of 1943, and married Charles Edwin Bidwell on April 14, 1945, at First Baptist Church in El Dorado. Doris was a homemaker, worked for an insurance agency and also sold real estate. She enjoyed travel, playing cards, fishing, and time with family. 
 
Her loving family includes her son, Charles “Chuck” Bidwell; daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Bidwell of McPherson; grandchildren, Tanya Prather and partner, Mark King of Nashua, New Hampshire, Christa Prather and husband, Allon Stern of Leesburg, Virginia, Nathan Prather and wife, Leanna of McPherson, Kansas, David Prather of Atlanta, Georgia, and Miles Bidwell and wife, Kactus of Severy, Kansas; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Alexander, and Andrew Stern and Kash and Konlee Bidwell. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles “Ed”; siblings, Nola May, Lester Levonn, and Dorothy (Ralston) Cranmer. Doris passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2019, having reached the age of 94 years old.
