David Lyle Powell was born on November 10, 1938, the son of William Howard and Mary Eldora (Porter) Powell in Decatur, Illinois. He was united in marriage to Shirley Rose Ryder on June 18, 1960, together they have three children, Mary, Jeff and Gerald. David passed away on November 20, 2018.
