David Eugene Eidson

David’s life began on October 27, 1953 in El Dorado; the son of Bernie W. and Betty M. (Baum) Eidson Sr. David faithfully served our country in the United States Army. He worked for Butler Community College for over 23 years. He enjoyed attending the Butler College football games and supporting the athletics department. David was a quiet man who loved his country. He loved spending time with his granddaughters. David’s greatest joy in life was his family which includes his children Twila Eidson of El Dorado, Lorie Eidson of El Dorado, David Eidson of Wichita; grandchildren Patricia, Brieanna, Daleena, Emily and Keylee; siblings Bernie Eidson Jr. of Oklahoma, Sharon (Robert) Kelsey of Wamego, Teresa (Steve) Booth of El Dorado, Ralph Mealor Jr. of El Dorado and several nieces and nephews. David passed away on July 1, 2019 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents. Friends may gather with the family from 5-7 pm on Monday July 8, 2019 at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:30 am.
