Darrell would always come into Wal-mart where I worked and he'd give me a hug and tell me a joke. I will miss him.

I was so sorry to hear of Darrell's passing. He played Pitch with us at Andover Senior Center and I always enjoyed visiting with him. This may sound silly but I felt a closeness to Darrell because the spelling of his name is the same as my brother's name and he was close in age to my brother. May God be with all of Darrell's family.

Darrell will always have a special place in my heart...he was so giving and I could always count on him coming into the office for a hug. He might have told the same jokes over and over but he was a special member to all of us here at the Andover Senior Center...he will be missed by many. Until we meet again my friend...

Darrell was a very special man that walked into our lives several years ago to reconnect with us. When Darrell was a child he lived next door to my mother. We spoke on the telephone many times. He would always say "how are you today young lady" always giving good advice and could make your day brighter. I enjoyed our conversations. He was there for me during some rough times in my life. He will be missed by our family.
