Daniel DeLeon

Daniel’s life began on September 21, 1962 in Big Springs, TX. He is one of 16 children. His parents were Daniel V. DeLeon, Sr and Carmen (Andrade) DeLeon. Pioneer Balloon Company in El Dorado had employed Daniel. He enjoyed working for Pioneer and loved camping and fishing at El Dorado Lake. Daniel is survived by his loving companion of nearly 21 years Claudia Carreiro of El Dorado; stepchildren Cheryl Gathogo, Barbara Jester, and Pamela Wartick; grandchildren Mark and Zaria Ithongo, several siblings and nieces and nephews. Daniel passed away at his home on Sunday July 29, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister and stepson John Stone. The family will be celebrating Daniel’s life privately and he will be laid to rest in Texas. Carlson Colonial Funeral Home is serving the family.
